Software Engineer C++/QT5

We are seeking a software engineer who is focused on application development. You will be working with a simulation-based platform in a challenging environment that combines cutting-edge technology with academic and research elements. This position requires a highly skilled software engineer with expertise in a wide range of programming languages, object-oriented design, design patterns, design languages, tools, libraries, and development environments.

We're seeking a candidate who meets the following requirements:

• Holds an M.Sc./PhD degree in electronics engineering, physics, mathematics or computer engineering;
• Can demonstrate experience working with QT5;
• Has knowledge of nVIDIA OptiX and CUDA (although proficiency in C++ is a prerequisite);
• Is results-driven, a collaborative team player, hands-on, and committed to continuous improvement;
• Has excellent spoken and written English skills;
• Lives in Europe and is open to relocating to the Eindhoven area;
• Has 1-5 years of relevant work experience, although we welcome applicants with relevant skill sets who are just starting out.
