(junior) PLC Engineer

As a PLC software designer, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of software for our individual machines and entire production lines. This software development position is based in Bakel. The Software Engineer reports to the Director of Machine Software Food Processing and Packaging. Your Responsibilities:

• Software development and programming independently and as a team, depending on the scope of the project;

• Developing and deploying customer specific applications worldwide for our customers;

• We train our customers on our machines and software applications;

• Translate a customer request into a functional software solution.

• Bachelor's degree or similar applicable work experience (at least 5 years) in a similar position and in an international business environment.

• Knowledge of any PLC language, preferably BandR PLC is essential.

• ICE 61131-3, knowledge of structured text or C# preferred.

• Self-supporting - results oriented - team player.

• Willingness to travel around the world (10-20%).

• Fluent spoken and written English.
