Cloud Product Owner (AZURE/ Docker)

For our top international client we are looking for a Lead Cloud Engineer. The application is a simulation based platform. You are going to work in a mix of top (high) tech and academical / research environment. In this role you implement new features, work with state of art tools to increase quantity and quality of the Software.

Define the roadmap and lead a team of Cloud Engineers for complex simulation software. You work in a smaller team so we really need a specialist who can do this job from A-Z both technically and project management wise. You work conform Agile way of working. You closely work with customers, application C++ software engineers and other Cloud engineers.

• Bachelor, Master or PhD degree in the field of Computer Engineering / Software Engineering / IT or relevant
• At least 6 years of relevant work experience as Cloud- Architect, -Project Manager or -Product Owner
• Excellent control of Azure, Docker, Linux and Agile
• Understanding of design patterns / UML / C++ principles is highly preferred
• Excellent English communication skills
• BSc/MSc or PhD. Computer Applications or Computer Science.
• Experience with Linux
• Good knowledge of cloud based platforms such as Amazon Microsoft Azure.
• Experiences with container technologies (like Docker/ Orchestrator).
• Thorough understanding of best coding practices.
• Understanding of version control tools like subversion, Mercurial or Git.
• Understanding of UML for architecture and design purposes.
• Having a helicopter view as well as in depth knowledge.
• Analytical.
