Introductie

The role is focused on commissioning and servicing system software within contractual agreements, adhering to budget and time constraints.

Functieomschrijving

A. General

  • Project-based commissioning of systems and service/maintenance of the installed base.
  • Allocation to projects in coordination with the Service Coordinator, where the Project Manager provides activities and the Service Manager determines the working methods (matrix organization).
  • Commissioning systems following KOG standards.

B. Activities

  • Supervise installation, start-up, and commissioning of supplied systems on-site, involving frequent international travel.
  • Conduct system testing, including:
  • Coordinating internal tests, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) according to specifications.
  • Performing panel tests and setting up test facilities in cooperation with the projects department.
  • Conducting functional testing of engineered systems and creating proper test records.
  • Compiling project documentation, installation manuals, operation manuals, and test procedures, including software documentation.
  • Provide service and maintenance, including:
  • Performing periodic maintenance and validation of installed systems.
  • Providing customer support on installed systems, either from the KROHNE office or on-site.
  • Organize training sessions and prepare training documentation for internal and external use.
  • Support other departments with problems related to existing systems and sales processes.

C. Other

  • Ensure all work and tasks comply with the company's ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 QHSE Procedures.
  • Assist the company in achieving its goal of "Best Practice" and "First Time Right" at all times.
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness when making business decisions.
  • Fulfill all relevant assigned duties.
  • Share responsibility for maintaining a clean and organized work environment within the department.
  • The job entails executing work abroad, which comprises approximately 50 to 70 percent of the workload.

SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant working experience.
  • Strong technical and commercial awareness with a flexible and proactive attitude.
  • Interest and knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry, particularly Custody Transfer Metering and associated supervisory systems.
  • Familiarity with CT standards and guidelines such as ISO, AGA, API, OIML, etc.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with PLC and SCADA software, computer systems/networking, field instrumentation, communication protocols, and software programming in general.
  • Knowledge of software development methods, automated testing, and software architecture.
  • Proficiency in both Dutch and English languages, both written and spoken.
