vacancies.introduction

As a system engineer in Eindhoven you translate complex and often ambiguous technical challenges into clear system concepts, experiments, models and development paths. For a client in the Eindhoven region - an innovative high-tech startup developing sustainable, dynamic smart glass technology - Trinamics is looking for a system engineer who delivers the foundational technical building blocks of that technology.

You work at the intersection of research, concept development, architecture and engineering, and you have direct impact on the technical direction of the product through close collaboration with engineering colleagues, the CTO and the technical leadership. In this fast-paced startup environment requirements are not always fully defined: you are comfortable navigating uncertainty, identifying the most critical technical questions and creating structure where none yet exists.

This is a full-time position based at the office in Eindhoven, with the willingness and availability to travel occasionally.

  • Work on cutting-edge technology with a real impact on energy consumption and sustainability in buildings.
  • A key role in a growing engineering team, with direct access to technical leadership.
  • An ambitious and supportive environment where your ideas really count.
  • Always a permanent job; no temporary projects.
  • After a period agreed in advance, a transfer to the client is possible.
  • An extensive package of secondary employment benefits.
  • Plenty of opportunities for personal and professional development.

  • Proven system thinking: you decompose complex problems into subsystems with clear requirements, specifications and interfaces, and you see dependencies and system behaviour.
  • Analytical depth: you design experiments, analyse data and draw clear conclusions.
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly, from engineer to executive leadership.
  • Fluency in English.
