As Quality Supplier Manager (supplier quality engineer, SQE) in Veldhoven, you manage the quality performance of a set of non-managed suppliers in the electronics and machine conditioning landscape, so that no non-quality products flow out to the global factories during the ramp-up phase.

You will work for an international high-tech client in Veldhoven. You are the bridge between the factory, the field organisation and the suppliers, and you manage your suppliers both operationally and on structural improvement, for example through 8D methodology.

Must-haves

  • A master's degree in a relevant field such as Quality Management or Industrial Engineering with thorough experience, or a bachelor's degree with extensive experience.
  • Experience with multi-supplier management.
  • Hands-on experience with 8D methodology.
  • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality rules.
  • Strong in quality control and assurance, risk management, data analysis and process optimisation.
  • Able to manage complexity and balance stakeholders, to communicate effectively and to ensure accountability.
  • Excellent English language skills.

  • Act as the bridge between the factory, the field organisation and the suppliers, and make sure 8D quality issues are resolved on time.
  • Lead quality control and assurance activities: complex inspections, audits and tests, and design and execute advanced testing procedures against the established quality standards.
  • Lead root cause analysis for complex quality issues across teams and implement solutions that prevent quality deviations from recurring.
  • Use advanced data analysis and statistical techniques to identify trends, risks and areas for improvement, and turn them into actionable recommendations.
  • Lead process improvement projects at cluster level, implement best practices and make sure improvements land in process descriptions, systems and architecture.
