Our client in Veldhoven is a world leader in high tech manufacturing. They introduce, produce and deliver leading edge lithography systems, related products and services in a continuously changing market: on time, at competitive cost and with quality that exceeds customer expectations. Within the TF Factory, the QRT team provides quality solutions for complex technical disturbances to secure the delivery performance of the systems. Mutual respect, teamwork, ownership and a drive to improve are what keep this team going, and they have fun while doing it.

As TF FAB QRT FFI 5-Shift Engineer you are the first line of support for Factory and Field Integration. You solve technical issues independently during your shift through troubleshooting and problem analysis, and you design action plans for the execution teams: damage, failing tests, progress and performance issues. Your coaching and guidance strengthen the solving power of the whole team.

This is what you do:

  • You act as first line support for the execution engineers, assessing the technical complexity of issues and suggesting the way forward together with the 2-shift QRT team engineers
  • You support delicate and complex hardware actions to reduce hard down time, especially during unsupported shifts
  • During the unsupported night shifts you secure progress for both factory and field
  • You keep developing your knowledge and hands-on skills by working closely with the QRT 2-shift team and joining organizations such as Technical Support and Module Production
  • You share your knowledge and skills with your colleagues to strengthen the competence of the QRT FFI 5-shift team
  • You drive continuous improvement in your natural team: KT trainings, adherence to agreed processes and thorough aftercare focused on cycle time reduction
  • During escalations you work with many departments and competences on complex issues
  • You work a 5-shift schedule (VPF00) of 40 hours per week in Veldhoven
