- Een afgeronde HBO- of WO-opleiding in bijvoorbeeld Werktuigbouwkunde, Autotechniek of Technische Bedrijfskunde.
- Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en het vermogen om belanghebbenden op alle niveaus mee te nemen.
- Eigenaarschap, oplossingsgerichtheid en aanpassingsvermogen.
- Een goede beheersing van zowel de Nederlandse als Engelse taal.
- Kennis of ervaring met verspanende technieken en/of warmtebehandeling van metalen is een pré

- Initiëren van verbeteringen binnen productieprocessen en het opvolgen van de voortgang van deze projecten.
- Ondersteunen bij het draaiend houden van de productielijn en bijdragen aan grote investeringsprojecten, zoals de aanschaf van nieuwe machines.
- Coördineren van de introductie van nieuwe producten in het productieproces.
- Informeren van belanghebbenden over de voortgang en resultaten van projecten.
- Deelnemen aan multidisciplinaire overleggen, zoals Simultaneous Engineering (SE) en het Continu Verbeter Team (CVT).
- Vertegenwoordigen van de afdeling binnen en buiten de fabriek.
