- A Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field
- At least 5 years of experience in a comparable role
- Experience in a high-tech production environment with complex assembly processes
- Knowledge of (statistical) data analysis and relevant methodologies
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach, with a constant focus on quality and process optimization
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written

As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical introduction, maintenance, and optimization of assembly and manufacturing processes. You will be the go-to person for technical matters, both internally and externally.
- Guiding, executing, and reporting on Process Flow and FMEA within NPI projects
- Evaluating Technical Product Documentation (TPD) for assembly time, manufacturability, and risks (FMEA)
- Continuously seeking efficiency improvements and implementing enhancement projects
- Actively maintaining customer and supplier relationships
- Taking responsibility for TPD reviews for all new and modified products
- Leading improvement projects and acting as the technical owner for products and processes
- Collaborating with (Sr.) Quality Engineers to promote the "Zero Defects" and "First Time Right" approach
- Implementing new assembly methods into production
- Regularly and proactively aligning with customers and suppliers regarding process and product improvements
