In a time when we do almost everything online, from applying for jobs to sharing personal information it's more important than ever to stay alert to website fraud. Unfortunately, we are currently experiencing this ourselves: two fraudulent websites are circulating that pretend to be Trinamics, namely www.trinamics.pro and www.trinamics.info. These websites closely resemble our official site but are operated by scammers with the intent to deceive and defraud people.
Website fraud is a form of internet fraud in which criminals create fake websites that are almost indistinguishable from real ones. These websites mimic the look, name, and often even the logo of an existing company. They are used to collect personal information, steal money, or spread fake job offers.
While fake websites are becoming increasingly sophisticated, there are still signs you can watch out for:
Check the web address (URL): our only official website is www.trinamics.nl. Websites like trinamics.pro and trinamics.info are fake.
Look for spelling mistakes and odd phrasing: scammers often use automatic translations, which can result in strange wording or incorrect grammar.
Not sure? Call us! If something doesn’t feel quite right, don’t hesitate to contact us using the information on our official website.
At Trinamics, you never have to pay for our services as a candidate. If someone contacts you claiming to represent us and asks for money, don’t fall for it, it’s a scam. When in doubt, always reach out to us directly.
We are taking this situation very seriously. We are actively reporting these fraudulent websites to various authorities and platforms. In addition, we have filed a police report. Unfortunately, it’s not always possible to take these websites down immediately. That’s why we feel it’s important to warn people through this blog.
Have you fallen victim to a fake website? Then it’s important to act quickly:
File a report with the police immediately.
Report the incident to the Fraud Helpdesk.
Contact your bank if you have shared any financial information.
Let us know, so we can include your report in our official case.
Always type web addresses directly into your browser instead of clicking on links.
Look up the company through reliable sources such as the Chamber of Commerce or official company profiles on LinkedIn.
Follow us on social media or check our website regularly for updates.
Important: The only official Trinamics website is www.trinamics.nl. Do not trust any other domains, no matter how legitimate they may look.
Do you have questions or suspect you’ve encountered a fake website? Please contact us immediately at info@trinamics.nl.
