A journey from small and ambitious to strong and professional

Twenty years ago, Trinamics started as a small and ambitious agency with a clear mission: to bring technology and talent together in a way that is human, down-to-earth, and sustainable. Today, anyone walking through our doors sees a professional organization with a sharp focus, strong partnerships, and a recognizable culture. But behind that growth lies the story of the people who lived it—people who have been part of Trinamics almost from the very beginning and who still shape who we are today.

Margo van Balen: almost 18 years of Trinamics

Margo van Balen, who has been with Trinamics for nearly 18 years, looks back with warmth on the period when it all started for her. When she joined in 2008, external employees would still hand in their timesheets in person, and she knew almost everyone by name.

“We were with five people and had around 25 to 30 employees on assignment. I did everything: administration, certifications, payroll. It was small, but the mentality was strong right from the start.” According to her, that mentality never disappeared. “The quality we had back then has always remained. It’s in our people.”

Remco Droog: from the early days to the top of technical recruitment

That same mentality is recognized by Remco Droog, now 14 years with the company. His memory of his first working day is just as nostalgic—and just as telling of those early years.

“There were only a few of us at the Westbroek office in Breda. Basic interior, Senseo coffee, a ping-pong table we never used, and the legendary CCMatch as our CRM. It was true pioneering.” With limited resources but an abundance of energy and drive, they built something everyone believed in.

Rutger Bartelink: no-nonsense back then, and still today

When Rutger Bartelink joined in 2013, that same energy was still very much alive. He entered a team of thirteen colleagues spread across two locations, with roughly seventy external employees working through Trinamics.

“The atmosphere was no-nonsense, engaged, and genuinely connecting. That has actually never changed. Everything around it has.” While Trinamics once had to fight to get a foot in the door with clients, we gradually grew into a steady and reliable partner for renowned high-tech companies. Or, as Rutger puts it perfectly: “We went from Eredivisie to Champions League recruitment.”

Growing together: three careers on the move

Although each of them has followed a different path within Trinamics, they all share the feeling that the organization has grown alongside them. Margo became familiar with nearly every discipline in the company, from administration to finance, certifications, and quality management—driven by continuous changes in legislation, systems, and market dynamics. “No year is the same, and that’s what keeps it challenging.”

Remco made the step from consultant to Commercial Manager and developed a strong sense of adaptability. “I’ve learned never to take anything for granted, because everything can change in an instant. It makes you resilient as a colleague, an entrepreneur, and an employee.”

Rutger grew from Operational Consultant to Performance & Compliance Manager, a development he says was made possible by the freedom he was given—and took. “If you give your best here, you get the best in return.”

The secret behind 20 years of Trinamics

When asked about the secret behind twenty years of Trinamics, their answers are remarkably similar.

  • Margo: “The people, the personal connection, and our no-nonsense mentality.”

  • Rutger: “No crazy leaps, no quick wins — just moving one step forward every time.”

  • Remco: “We lead with a human touch. Everyone practices the craft in their own way, and together that strengthens our network.”

The culture that has always remained

What stands out in their stories is that despite all the growth, changes, new systems, and bigger clients, the culture has always stayed the same. A combination of down-to-earth thinking, involvement, and the freedom to be yourself. “New people feel at home quickly here, because you can be yourself and there’s always someone who thinks along with you,” says Rutger. And Remco summarizes it perhaps best of all: “The people, and the shared drive to build something solid, that’s what makes Trinamics special.”

Looking ahead: building the next 20 years

So twenty years of Trinamics is not just about growth—it’s about staying true to who you are. About pursuing ambition without losing the human touch. About building relationships, spotting opportunities, and above all: working together. With the same involvement, ambition, and down-to-earth energy that started it all, we continue building the future—together with the people who have made Trinamics what it has been for twenty years: strong, warm, and authentic.
