What do you often hear back after the first contact with a candidate?
That they haven't thought very creatively about the different options available to them. We come up with multiple companies as well as ideas regarding positions.
When does a client really feel like a partner to you?
The moment they act quickly with feedback and are flexible with regard to scheduling appointments and letting us come by for a tour. But above all it feels like a partner the moment they trust me that they have to invite someone without the CV based on work experience really seems to fit and thus the personality of a candidate can prevail. (Obviously this is not possible for all roles)
What do you do differently from other agencies in the search for a match?
On the candidate level: Being transparent about the clients we work with, but also being open about the ideas I have regarding parties I don't yet have a partnership with. I really see myself as an extension of the search for a candidate. At client level: reading up on the world in which they operate, both in terms of clients and market, so I understand their problems and which profiles can understand them. With this I do not blind myself to a field or keyword in the profile, but look beyond that.
What are you most proud of in counseling candidates?
That I am honest about the possibilities, but also especially about the impossibilities. For example, when it comes to advancement, salary, etc. Everything is discussed as openly as possible and sometimes even in a three-way meeting with the client to ensure that it becomes a lasting relationship rather than a short marriage.
What do clients appreciate about our way of working together?
First of all, the quality of our candidates. Especially the understanding of the complexity they are in and in the technical world. Our consultants really have many years of experience in job placement. And further the speed and creativity in the process of mediation. This concerns the scheduling of interviews in combination with preparation and also when it comes to thinking about practical solutions if someone is still studying, does not have a car, etc.
