Senior Electronic Component Engineer With Cable Racks Cabinets experience

Do you have affinity with electronics designs? And do you have experience with Cable Racks Cabinets? Then this could be the perfect job for you. I am looking for somebody who is available in Eindhoven at one of the biggest technical companies of the Netherlands.

As a component engineer you will be focused on selection, qualification and accurate registration of catalog materials. Early involvement in design activities or issue resolutions is key in this job to ensure smooth and efficient. Finally you are the link between designers, manufactures, supply chain engineers and procurement officers to provide advice and guard the balance between technology, quality and costs. Some of the responsibilities as a component engineer are:
Build and maintain expertise on electrical connectivity;
Support designers in making the best component selections;
Selection, qualification and introduction of new components;
Facilitate and monitor development of customized derivatives;
Guard the quality of the component information in the database.

BSc of MSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
At least five years of experience in electronic connectivity designs;
Affinity with production equipment and tooling;
Knowledge on the design of connectors and digital fibers is a big plus;
Knowledge of industry regulations (CE, UL, IEC) is a big plus
