Through simulations, new developments at the vehicle level, system level, and component level are evaluated and optimized, including fuel consumption and the contribution to CO2 emissions.

These simulations support the design range from the very first conceptual idea to the end validation of the developed truck design.

You are responsible for the following tasks:

  • Set up models and simulation plans;
  • Performance of fuel consumption analyzes, CO2 emissions and other flood performance;
  • Process analyzes to conclusions and design recommendations
  • Verify and validate designs.

Wat verwachten we van jou?

A completed WO degree (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Car / Airplane Technology or similar);

  • Demonstrable affinity with vehicle technology (trucks), simulations and / or energy management is a must;
  • Minimum 1 year experience in flood simulations;
  • Knowledge of / experience with Matlab and / or Simulink;
  • Excellent communication skills in word and writing, in English and preferably also in Dutch;
  • An enthusiastic and motivated institution, on the one hand, working independently, but certainly also being collegiate.
