The Engineering IT Services Software (EIS) group within ASML is responsible for the software development environment. This environment consists of an integrated development, build, test and release environment and must be capable to support the lifecycle and configuration management of the ASML product software. The environment is developed and maintained in close cooperation with the ASML software development community.

To provide ASML’s Software Developers with modern Cloud Based Test Facilities. This will require a major overhaul of the existing frameworks replacing old technology with new.
Based on a functional and high-level technical design new software needs to be engineered. As the testing of software will be presented as a cloud-based service, networking and cloud technology will comprise an important part of the new service. The service will be available to thousands of (software) engineers throughout the organization and be used in ASML locations worldwide. The testing platform is a key part of these engineer’s daily activities.
This role involves taking ownership by detailing out the high-level designs in technical designs, implement these and the ability to thoroughly test deliverables. You will be a technical expert in the Test Facilities DevOps team. This is done in close co-operation with the internal customers, EIS Software Architects, EIS infrastructure and application support teams.
You will need to have a hands-on mindset, strong customer- and problem-solving orientation, shows fast results and have great communication skills. Your time will be divided between adding new functionality and supporting the existing Test Facilities. To achieve the team goals, you need to be able to liaise with all stakeholders.

EIS uses the SAFe Agile methodology. ASML produces software as part of its solutions and products for its customers. This software is proprietary and part of the intellectual property of ASML. Currently ASML employs over 3000 software developers and this number is still growing. These ASML software developers rely on the software development environment to be able to perform their jobs.
