Lead Cloud Engineer (Azure/ Linux/ Docker)

For our top international client we are looking for a Lead Cloud Engineer. The application is a simulation based platform. You are going to work in a mix of top (high) tech and academical / research environment. In this role you implement new features, work with state of art tools to increase quantity and quality of the Software.

• BSc/MSc or PhD. Computer Applications or Computer Science.
• Experience with Linux
• Good knowledge of cloud based platforms such as Amazon Microsoft Azure.
• Having understanding of the complete infrastructure of the cloud
• At least 3 years of experiences with leading a team
• Experiences with container technologies (like Docker/ Orchestrator).
• Thorough understanding of best coding practices.
• Understanding of version control tools like subversion, Mercurial or Git.
• Understanding of UML for architecture and design purposes.
• Having a helicopter view as well as in depth knowledge.
• Analytical.
• Likes to pick up new challenges.
• Team player.
• Being able to handle ad hoc requests.
• Pragmatic as well as providing software solutions.
