Functieomschrijving

The role being offered is as a SW Design Engineer in the newly formed Metrology Diagnostics Infrastructure Software Group at ASML. The group is responsible for developing an application framework to host diagnostic tools for the metrology cluster in the cloud. The SW Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and maintaining diagnostic framework components, steering other metrology functional design engineers on software subjects concerning diagnostic applications, contributing to documentation, and keeping current with modern technologies and developments in the Cloud Native space.

Wat verwachten we van jou?

The ideal candidate will have a

  • bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, systems engineering, or equivalent,
  • with over 3 years of experience as a software design engineer in a multidisciplinary setting.
  • They should have experience in languages like Python, Matlab, and/or Julia and with cloud-native software development.
  • Experience in metrology is a plus

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a

  • excellent English written and verbal communication skills,
  • be a team player, have an entrepreneurial mentality,
  • and be willing to work on the application side (design).
