Electrical Interface Engineer

As an Electrical Interface (Support) Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the engineering and execution of challenging projects within the data center industry's power distribution sector. Collaborating with the project team, your focus will be on delivering technical solutions.

In this role, you'll be part of the Electrical Engineering team for data centers, consisting of approximately 20 engineers. Due to our business expansion, we are seeking an Electrical Interface Engineer to join our close-knit and dynamic team.

Your Responsibilities:

As a key contributor to project realization, you will collaborate with System Engineers under the guidance of a Lead Engineer to ensure accurate technical outcomes. Project scopes include engineering, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of power distribution systems, covering medium- and low-voltage distributors, transformers, power distribution units, bus bar systems, digital protection, automation and monitoring systems, and modular solutions like E-Houses and Skids.

Your tasks will involve:

• Providing technical support to (Lead) Engineers within the project.
• Resolving residual points and completing administrative closures.
• Participating in the realization of detailed designs for low- and medium-voltage distribution systems.
• Preparing work packages for installation and commissioning.
• Independently resolving technical issues.
• Compiling Operations & Maintenance manuals.
• Reviewing technical (factory) documentation.
• Drafting technical specifications and RFQs.
• Delivering technical documentation to end customers.
• Managing and updating technical project documentation.
• Compiling technical training courses.
• Creating test and inspection plans.

• Completed BSc degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Experience in energy distribution projects.
• Familiarity with reviewing and drafting technical documentation and manuals.
• Experience in creating technical reports and test plans.
• Creative, positive, and effective communicator.
• Accurate, critical, committed, practical, and results-oriented.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Flexible, stress-resistant, and capable of performing in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of the Dutch language is preferable.
• Experience in data center projects is advantageous.
