Embedded Software Engineer

The embedded Software Engineer is responsible for the development of control units and connection products. 

As a firmware (embedded software) engineer, you are involved in the entire software development process, from creating requirements to maintaining the developed software. You are responsible for design and development throughout the life cycle. As needed, you support team members and other users working on your software, as well as users integrating control blocks into their products.

• Prepare the requirements in more detail
• Software design, development and testing
• Software (technical) documentation, especially for security components
• Correct use of tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, Artifactory, etc.
• PCB control during integration and validation tests
• Provides testing and troubleshooting
• Identifies and implements process and/or product improvements.

• MSc/BSc in Embedded Software or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience with embedded software (C/C++) and (mass) production-oriented organization. 
• Experience with C++ is a must
• You are familiar with configuration management and the use of software development tools and debugging environments;
• Can write product software specifications and internal technical documentation
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English;
• Knowledge of agile work (Scrum / Kanban / SAFe or scaled agile);
• Experience with DevOps
