Introductie

For our client that is specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of advanced lithography systems used by semiconductor manufacturers we are seeking a skilled software engineer with experience in a DevOps environment.

Functieomschrijving

You will be responsible for designing and building complex software using state of the art software tools, and ensuring that software can be stored, edited, validated, automatically tested, built, and deployed across all software stacks and machines. In addition, you will be responsible for continuously improving CI/CD pipeline, managing, monitoring and build pipelines and systems. You are also participating in discussions regarding new technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Write high-quality code and infrastructure.
  • Analyze user stories, design solutions, and implement them.
  • Drive continuous improvement of our CI/CD pipeline.
  • Continuously improve your knowledge, skills, and the team.
  • Coach and support team members during sprints.
  • Manage, continuously improve, and monitor our build pipelines and systems.
  • Participate in discussions regarding new technologies.
  • Occasionally share the on-call rotation and serve as an escalation contact for incidents and support.

Wat verwachten we van jou?

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of experience as a software engineer in a DevOps environment.
  • Solid understanding of Software Engineering principles, such as design patterns.
  • Ability to write testable, maintainable, secure, and fast code.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Strong understanding of modern Linux-based infrastructure, Docker & Kubernetes.
  • Experience in working in a true Agile environment.
  • Familiarity with build tools, software pipelines, DevOps, and test-driven development.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Highly motivated to learn new technologies and topics.
  • Fluent in English, both in speaking and writing.
