Technical Author / Writher

In Eindhoven, the Netherlands, at one of our high tech companies in the semiconductor, we are looking for an Technical Author / Writer.

Do you have experience as a technical writer in a high tech environment? Do you like to write, review and publish technical documentation? This will be the perfect role for you.

As a Technical Author / Writer you will not only write, but also review and publishes the technical documentation for the Electrical Layout. This is the system that provides electrical power to all subsystems. The documents you will write are for the install team at the client but also for the work centers and the customer service departments.

The main responsibilities are:

• Preparing technical documentation for the Manufacturing and/or Equipment Engineer
• Ensure a uniform high standard of technical documentation for the team
• Prepare complex technical procedures clearly and accurately in simple English with a methodical approach
• Review comments on existing procedures and assign for review by engineers where necessary
• Gain sufficient technical knowledge of the products and processes to support the engineers in creating procedures that perfectly fits the needs of the executers of the procedures
• Constantly investigate incoming comments from Field and Factory and inform the engineers on common or repeating field input

• A Technical Bachelor or Master degree
• At least 3 years of relevant experience as a technical writer in a technical environment
• Experience with Arbotext (EPIC) is a pre
• Eye for detail is necessary for this role
