Job description
As a Mechanical Design Engineer you'll be part of the Wafer Stage Team. In this role, you are responsible for:
- Realization of precision mechanical function development
- Optimization of the design
- Mechanical analysis
- Contact with suppliers, regarding design and drawing reviews
- Creation and validation of new concepts
- Translate performance specifications into design specification for main frame constructions and service mechanisms
- Definition and execution of final tests to verify the specifications
What do we expect from you?
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Design Engineer position
- BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical Engineer or related
- Experience with motion contorl and linear stage
- Experience in precision mechanics
- Experience with Finite Element Method (FEM) and analytic tools (ANSYS, MATLAB, Mathcad)
- Knowledge of construction principles and geometric dimensioning and tolerance
- Knowlegde of machine directives
- Experience with Siemens NX or willing to learn
- Communicative and fluent in English, since you're in contact with suppliers
