Software Engineer Self Driving Vehicles

The promise of a digital future…today. For our client, we are looking for an experienced software engineer to create new functionality for a simulation platform in The Hague area, The Netherlands. 

Our client, who is a mature and wide-spread simulation platform for virtual development and validation of active safety and Automated Driving systems, is looking for an experienced software engineer to create new functionality for their simulation platform. The role requires affinity with physics and/or mathematics in order to be able to understand the problem domain and to translate this into good and robust software. You will be working in a mix of top (high) tech/automotive academical / research environment. This is a real software engineer role so you need to have a wide knowledge about programming languages, object orientation, design patterns, design languages, tools, libraries, development environments

• Education MSc/BSc in Computer Science/Technical Informatics with at least 2 year of experience in a technical enviroment is required.
• Thorough understanding of Object Orientation and related topics such as design patterns
• Experience with OpenGL, OpenCL, CUDA, GPU Computing is a plus
• Up to Date knowledge and proven hands-on experience of C++, Jira and Agile
• You're having a helicopter view as well as in depth knowledge and inventive ergarding complex problems
• Finally we are looking for an overall team player with a analytical mindset who is willing to pick up new challenges
