Camera System Engineer

An organization responsible for performing automotive/software testing & development.


For our client we are looking for a Camera System Engineer. You work on a state of the art simulation platform for virtual development and validation of advanced systems and applications. You will focus Camera System Engineering (camera, radar, infrared, lidar, ultrasone DSRC).



§  Bridge engineering use-cases with the product’s functional requirements to ensure that overall quality and usability is delivered.

§  Identify, analyze, and document all defects and operational characteristics that are inconsistent with product specifications.

§  Be responsible for the analysis, reporting and communication of modeling, testing and validation results on all assigned projects.

§  Assist in evaluating product and application defects reported by customers.

§  Create, execute and automate validation studies.

§  Document and verify resolution of identified issues and defects.

§  Assist in implementing improvements in validation methods and strategies.

§  Escalate risks to management with suggested mitigation activities, where possible. 


§  Education level: Master or PhD Degree

§  Background in Physics, Electrical Engineering or similar.

§  Knowledge and working experience with specific Camera Engineering  

§  An adequate level of verbal and written English language.

§  Pre: Knowledge of computer programming languages as well as MATLAB/Simulink 

§  Pre: Agile development (SCRUM) experience.

§  Pre: Knowledge and working experience with issue management.

§  Having a helicopter view as well as in depth knowledge

§  Analytical

§  Likes to pick up new challenges

§  Team player

§  Being able to handle ad hoc requests

§  Pragmatic as well as providing software solutions
