Are you the Planner that can drive the Customer Supply Chain network to deliver impact that is valuable for our customers (e.g., deliver the committed customer service, prevent out of stock situations) and contributes the profitability of ASML (e.g., limit emergency shipments, prevent obsolescence)?

For our client ASML, a fast dynamic technical company delivering high value machines for the semi-conductor industry, we are looking for Tool planner Service.  

An exciting international role for academics with interest for high tech and supply chain/logistics. There are four roles located in/with intensive travel to US, Korea or Taiwan or countries in Europe.

Job Description

In this role you will steer the global supply network by setting the norm levels for inventories and emergency shipments together with key stakeholders in the customer value chain e.g., Platform Lifecycle Management, Supply, Deliver, Field. You will be challenged on how your plans will deliver ASML’s committed customer service against optimal cost.

 

  • Define planning strategies for parts and tools – quarterly review of defined strategies;
  • Convert usage forecast into safety stock and emergency shipment norm levels for supply hubs and local warehouses and related supply chain flows (replenishment, local delivery);
  • Highlight any deviations between usage forecast and inventories/supply and resolve within Integral Service Planning process;
  • Prepares and facilitates inventory/supply review meeting.

Eisen

Education

Master degree (e.g Industrial Engineering & Management Science, Business Administration, Supply chain or Engineering)

 

Experience

  • Supply chain planning (demand and/or supply);
  • Strong in statistics and stochastic processes;
  • Familiar with ERP – preferably SAP ECC.

 

Personal skills

  • Analytical, pro-active personality taking initiative;
  • Business sense, commercial attitude and customer-focus;
  • Proficient Excel and Access skills (needs to be able to change queries in Access);
  • Is able to both, speak and write, English fluently;
  • Is flexible, has no 9 to 5 mentality;
  • Is process oriented;
  • Is able to do change management.
