Manager Service and Connectivity – IT


Job description
The Connectivity Service Manager is responsible for the Connectivity services, through-out the entire lifespan. You make sure that from design till operations, the customer requirements are met. The focus of this assignment is on an operational level, you will monitor problems and/or changes in the connectivity landscape.

Your daily activities:

  • You will ensure all the processes and underpinning contracts with external suppliers.
  • You measure and report regularly
  • You will negotiate service level agreements
  • You will ensure technology services and infrastructure plans are in place to deliver the agreed capacity and performance targets in a cost effective and timely manner 
  • You manage the lifecycle of all service-affecting problems with the aim of preventing incidents or minimizing them
  • You are involved during projects initiation to provide service management input and continued involvement through-out the Design and Transition phases. Activities will include the creation and ongoing ownership of the required Service management deliverables
  • You build and maintain key relationship management with internal and external partners
  • You communicate and align with the various stakeholders within the clients’ IT about the changes/projects in order to set the right expectations, agree on down-time slots, etc. Make them aware about the Connectivity standards and help them to make use of those standards
  • You deliver pro-active input into project management process, governance and documentation improvements

  • ·         You finished a Bachelor or Master which is relevant to the job position


The perfect candidate has got the following experience:

  • You have knowledge of service management (ITIL, BiSL, Cobit)
  • You have at least 6+ years of experience in a role as service manager in an international company
  • You have experience with interfaces towards employees and managers at all levels of the organization as well as outside vendors and service providers
  • You have generic knowledge of connectivity solutions and technology
