About the partner
Our partner is one of the world's leading suppliers of Light Detecting and Ranging sensors and systems.  The client recently celebrated its 20-year anniversary. Already back in 2007, the client took part in the notorious DARPA Urban Challenge, a competition in which teams from all over the world compete against each other with their own autonomous driving car. These cars must independently be able to deal with complex traffic situations within an urban setting.


Job description

  • You will wrap, integrate and apply improvements to the different sensor model sub modules to establish the own sensor simulation package under development
  • You will review and professionalize  code underlying the sensor sub models, which were developed by the optical and physics experts
  • You will do working on milestone / capability based project tracking
  • You will help to mobilize a inspiring and positive DNA in the organization


·  Your profile

  • You have a hands-on experience in measuring sensor system performance
  • You have a work experience of 5 – 10 years in a domain related industry like ours clients’
  • You have experience with nVIDIA OptiX and CUDA, fluency in a recent version C++ is required
  • You are familiar with version control, build management and testing/documentation tools
  • You are familiar with 3D graphics programming and Qt5
  • You are a self starting personality and like to learn new challenging thins
  • You are a good communicator which is important because you will collaborate a lot with your team
  • You have a good understanding of English in spoken and written
  • You have preferably a car drivers license


  • You have a M.Sc. degree in electronics engineering /physics or an education which is equivalent like scientific computing or mathematics.
