MSc. / PhD Project Applied Application Engineer

International state of the art technological automotive R&D company. 


For our client we are looking for a Project Engineer Control Systems. You are going to work on a simulation platform for virtual development and validation of Automotive related application systems. You are supporting customers how to use automotive software applications (for example Hardware in the Loop testing, automated braking, lane departure warning, ADAS, etc.) and represent the customer product usage. You will find solutions for this and provide first line support directly to customers and local internal engineers. This is not a software engineering role, but you have know how to use Matlab because of the simulation platform. Beside some software bugs you will identify, analyze and document operational characteristics that are inconsistent with desired functionality and specifications. In this role excellent English verbal and non-verbal communication skills are important because you have to deal with customers and the colleagues in a dynamic organization. On-site visits and giving presentations are also part of you work.      


§  Technical Master or PhD (Control) System Engineering or Electrical Engineering degree or Automotive Engineering or Aerospace Engineering degree with 2-4 years max of work experience. It’s like an traineeship for communicative engineers already worked for the first 2 years. No starters.

§  Willing to work on applied application engineering

§  Excellent English verbal and non-verbal communication skills!

§  Experience with the testing is a big plus

§  Experience with Matlab is a must   

§  Willing to travel a couple of times a year

§  Analytical

§  Pro active attitude

§  Already living in Europe and want to relocate to the Netherlands
